Women are, by far, the most vulnerable creature on Earth. Not only do they have to suffer during menstruation itself, but they are also in a lot of pain owing to the condition which came to be medically referred to as premenstrual syndrome.
It is immensely interesting, at least to me - that in the past women who used to complain about some kinds of symptoms which occurred to them prior to their menstruation, they were thought insane. That is to say, no one really recognized that there is something like a premenstrual syndrome and the condition was medically proven to exist only in the latest century. It' s a great pity because for so many years women were doomed to suffer from the premenstrual syndrome and actually when they plucked up their courage to say a word about their sufferings they were frowned upon as forever moaning and groaning about something. It' s good that at least nowadays the premenstrual syndrome is thought to be real and virtually no one denies the woman' s right to complain about it. It' s a shame that medicine failed to recognize premenstrual syndrome as a really serious condition earlier. Yet, there is a popular saying in English encouraging us to forget all about the past and forgive. So, why don' t we do as it advises and let bygones be bygones.
